Sadakichi Hartmann

Sadakichi Hartmann was born in Japan to a Japanese mother and a German father and was raised in Germany. He became an American citizen in his thirties. There he was a prominent member of the Bohemian scene in New York City, being crowned "King of the Bohemians" in the 1910s. He was a poet and a critic and did some rather bad paintings.
