Essentially it's like facebook status updates. All you do is update what you're doing. That's it. You have your list of people that you "follow" and everyone's updates are on one page. Apparently it's becoming rather big in the states. I only had like 3 people in all my address books who are on there.
I signed up cuz I have a couple friends that aren't on facebook so we can connect this way. Just google Twitter for more info
