What do you mean people won't read it? I always read things, especially if you wrote them! :D I'm proud member of Avid Readers Club at school, remember? xD
I guess we're both a bit ambitious, huh? :>
One of my friends at school wants to be "The Ultimate Asian", i.e. speak EVERY ASIAN DIALECT IN EXISTENCE and I wanted to slap her and say she was crazy :'D
Anyways, I just went on to see if anybody was around. Just popped by to say hello (or czesc lol) since I wasn't here today!
aaaaw <3 dont hide in a corner~ I like biology and maths! at least I liked them in high school :B
OH THIS WAS SO COOL~ besides the "Enge" word I could make out what the whole sentence meant! I guess Dutch really is similar to German (especially when written because when you say your 'H' it sounds like in no other language... well maybe the schwizer-deutch - they also tend to make sounds like that :'D)
LOL maths, especially, is awesome! That's the way it is!
I did purposely pick a sentence that was the same in English and Dutch, grammar wise. For easy translation and all that.
Dutch and german really are alike. I can read german texts (more or less) even though it's been almost 5 years since I last studied the language or, as a matter of fact, bothered to do anything with it.
My mom lived in Switserland for 2 and a half years, so her schwizer deutch is perfect. It's quite a bit further form Dutch and high german actually. (in other words, I can't understand a word of it -_-;; fails)
