I tried the first episode and my little bro came over to look. We were both like 'The hell? Why are they just eating all the time!?' and I dropped it.

Though I did discover the exsistance of that seashell-shaped chocolate-filled bread!

Yeah ^^;. As well as the 'ditz', another great source of Japanese comedy appears to be 'food jokes', which I find equally hard to be amused by.

Same. It kind of annoys me. Kobato was a HUGE ditz but she was still pretty smart and the sotory was great so it was charming for me.
