I've been checking out some of Takako Shimura's other works recently, and one I discovered was Boku wa, Onnako no ko, a collection of short stories. But Aoi no Hana is awesome! But it's not yuri, it's shoujo-ai ^-^. I didn't know that she was the one who created that beautiful manga!

I'll check this manga out too.

Ah, sorry, 'Yuri' was what was written in wikipedia XD But yeah, I've heard the manga's meant to be very good, but I'm not really that interested in shojo-ai/yuri or schooldramas, so it doesn't really sound like my thing. I might still check it out though. Takako Shimura does a lot of series covering LGBT topics, as well as some more adult comedy and bishojo series (which aren't meant to be that great XD). But if Ai no Hana is anything like Hourou Musuko, then I think I may check it out. If you enjoyed Ai no Hana, then it's probably worth checking out some of the authors other works like Hourou Musuko (Wandering Son) and Boku Onnako ^^.
