And on another note, I saw the first episode of Lucky Star yesterday. What the hell 0.0? I spent 8 minutes learning

Yeah...I gave up on the first episode of Lucky Star and have not picked it up since. I like to listen to the OP theme, though^^.

The op is catchy (and they parody it everywhere) ^^. But yeah, I did just sit there are think '.....what the hell 0.0?'. I CAN see why people like it...but for me it was somewhat boring. It's one of those things where it's great because you really DO have random, pointless converstations like that in real life (and it makes you feel slightly less insane for it).....but seeing three anime characters dragging it out over the course of 8 minutes does get pretty tedious.

I understand how you feel about Lucky star XD It's the reason I couldn't watch more than three episodes of it Dx. While I know we all have pointless conversations in real life at times, I think the characters of Lucky star takes it a bit to far. It's funny for ten minutes or so, but watching it for 25 minutes? No...if I watched all 25 episodes then I would go insane...>.<.

I think Lucky star is one of those really famous cult animes that doesn't really deserve all the attention...it's not bad, but not really great either. It's just like with Neon genesis evangelion, Haruhi Suzumiya, Naruto and Bleach...they get to much love in my opinion Dx.

Exactly. I think if Lucky star consisted of short, 5 minute episodes, like Hetalia, it could be quite good. But they really do stretch it out way too much, so it just gets tedious. And I do agree that it's rather over rated. It's good, but not really that incredible, while a lot of people seem to hail it as one of the greatest animes ever.

I've heard of that show! I've never really watched it though--just a few songs from it that I happened to come across. I don't know why, but I could never get myself to go watch it, despite one of my friends raving about it. It sounds kind of interesting from your description, but even without seeing it I have a feeling that I'm probably going to agree about it being tedious to watch after a bit. XD;

It is very tedious. It's one of those 'for a certain type of humour' kinds of comedy.
