“REI!” Jun shouted as he entered the 2A classroom, banging the door behind him, leaving shock mixed with fear from everyone within a mile.

Jun saw the puzzled looks in everyone’s faces and corrected himself, “I mean, Hino-san, see me after class! AND YOU, INOO, DETENTION! YOU ALSO OWE ME A 300 WORD ESSAY ON THE HISTORY OF… OF…uh… OF AN ARMCHAIR AND ITS IMPORTANCE TO THE MODERN WORLD!”

Jun stormed out, still fuming, making students in his way shiver thinking ‘What’s wrong with Matsumoto-sensei?’ but Rei only shook her head in disbelief.

“What’s up with him?” Rei asked her oh-so loyal, truthful, loving, calming, and caring best friend in the entire world, Kei Inoo. “You didn’t do anything stupid, ne? I was with you since this morning…”

“Maybe that’s the problem.” Kei replied with a sigh, bringing out a pencil and a stack of paper to start his ‘punishment.’ “He saw me hug you.”

Rei sighed and patted her best friend’s back t comfort him. He turned to her and said in a dry voice, “Next time, remind me never to touch not even your shadow, okay?”

Rei nodded but couldn’t help but smile, amused, when she heard him hiss, “Protective boyfriend!”
