So, the thing about Malaysia is that generally speaking, people respectively celebrate their own religious/cultural holidays (with post-prayers Open Houses for family and friends), so here in the city, where the demographics is all mixed up, holidays = full shopping malls, because there will be those who won't be celebrating the holy day du jour.
