It's worse than losing your heart. Anything lost can be found with time and patience. You slowly whittle it away and rot it.

I do not know axel. It's possible he believes what he told you. It's equally possible he was trying to manipulate you. What do you think his intent was?

Perhapse not personally. But if he is lying about souls then he is someone I would want to watch. The most dangerous lies are those which are near the truth.

My guess based on what you say is that he is maliciously ignorant at best.
