This guy I've been partnered with at work had someone *give* his 15 year old daughter a horse. Supposedly this is a gelding that was green broke at some time in the past, but has been out in a pasture with just a mare for company for a couple of years. They brought the horse to a stable, where they are boarding him, and started working with him ( Read more... )

OMG!!! I'm shocked the stable is willing to have kept him so long. I'd get him to the killers as fast as possible before something else happens. What if he gets out of their makeshift shelter and gets on the road and causes an accident?

Plus he sounds as dangerous as you can get and that's while he's lame!

Maybe they can find a rancher who needs an extra horse who can quassi train him to some usefull purpose. It's that brute's only chance. He'll never be fully trainable, he's to old for that, But given the right owner he could be trained to pull an Amish plough.

Other wise sadly this beast will have to be put down.

Why do people still believe that old saw about not looking a gift horse in the mouth???
