How come tampons with plastic applicators cost 2 to 3 times as much as the cardboard ones? The work exactly the same. I also wonder if cardboard applicators can be recycled with other cardboard.

Cause plastic is more expensive to make and you can't recycle the cardboard ones cause the bleach and fun stuff they put in them, plus the blood and biomatter you get on it when you stick it up your vagina

Lol, I was kinda joking on the recycling thing. I figure they're classifed as a biohazard once they leave the vagina habitat.
