I've been thinking a lot about the Welcome Center since Emma--Miss Woodhouse, sorry--made some suggestions about it.  Some of her ideas were really strange, but it's so great that she's excited about making things better around here.  I don't think I've ever met anyone with that kind of enthusiasm.

Play it up a bit, pretend you're useless, and someone will hold your hand and tell you it's all right in the big, terrible City. And if they can't handle it, you'll do it for them. Or maybe they don't pretend, and they just cling to the nearest hero.

You can't see how it'll go wrong?

No, I see what you're getting at. You're brilliant for thinking of that, although I really hope no one takes advantage of something that's supposed to help.

Any ideas on how to keep that from happening?

What? No! No, definitely not! I really think you brought up a good point, but I don't know how to keep this whole thing from getting used the wrong way without potentially turning away people who genuinely need help.
