No awkward silence...

...this time. :D

Do you know, though, I find that acknowledging the awkward silence tends to diffuse it. When I'm in an awkward situation I'll just straight-up say, "well, THIS is awkward" and then I inevitably crack up and it's not quite so awkward anymore. I have a good sense of the ridiculous though. That helps.
