As I continue the Great Patio Upheaval, I have discovered that the wild Loafer pigeons are smart enough to pick at the netting on the ground between bricks holding the netting in place (since I am neither a carpenter or a handyperson, it certainly has flaws, and I intend this to be easy to remove When Things Are Better and a more professional, ( Read more... )

I've never heard it from anyone who has had chickens as pets!

I was surprised to see Fawn tell Whit that there was nothing stupider than chickens :)

Are turkeys witless? Turkeys I know nothing about!

Wild turkeys are pretty smart - that's why Franklin suggested them as our national bird - but domesticated turkeys are proverbially stupid, yes.
