Well. We did all we could, but when two of our geese mysteriously died, there just wasn't any more to do but to find someplace safe for the rest. First Toulie, then Lucy, our two friendliest girls, died about two months apart for no apparent reason ( Read more... )

The realtor is making excuses for not being able to sell the house. He's doing a poor job or they're asking too much, something. But he needs a scapegoat. Ugh. I used to be a real estate agent btw, and he's doing everything he can so the blame isn't on him so he can keep working.

We get that kind of thing from the realtors a lot out here lately. The median house value is about 90,000. Then new housing was built around us. Selling those for 200,000 ... just wasn't happening. The Realtors are constantly blaming anything they can for not being able to sell, and are the reason we're no longer small industrial/farming zoned.

Now with people from LA and Orange moving out here after losing their half million dollar houses, people who have never seen a live horse, you can imagine the problems.
