My computer died. Spyware and malware and trojans -- oh my! It was one of those last straw moments -- I just couldn't handle anything else.

I had recently downloaded it to put on a mix CD for him. Jill Sobule sang it when she was in town a few weeks ago and it made me cry. I wish her version was available somewhere, but you can't argue with Etta James.

It's amazing to me. The sheer volume of emails and phone calls I've gotten in the past 24 hours, and how all of that love and support feels like the tiniest drop in the bucket in terms of the love that I'm missing.
