I'm putting a run in for my dogs behind my new digs, and after researching alternative lawns I've seeded with clover. It's germinating it's little heart out back there. It's drought resistant, chokes out weeds, low maintenance, low chemicals, and tolerates dog urine. And nitrogen fixing and erosion controlling.
I recommend it for those looking to make a happy dog place.
