Already boycotting them for their union-busting, opposition to American healthcare reform (and sanctimonious "alternative to healthcare": eating their food), and also because I can't afford their overpriced yuppie shit.
I worked in their cheese department for a year. It was probably the worst job I've ever had. Working there made me uncomfortable because I always felt like I was being scrutinized.
Also, a year working in their cheese department cause me to gain weight. Fuck them.
I said this in one of the communities where I posted this, but I developed high blood pressure in my 20s thanks to being on the pill. Even when I weighed 128 lbs., I *still* had high blood pressure. What exactly would Whole Foods like someone to do in a situation like that?
Yeah, exactly - and sometimes people gain weight because of medications they're on. Medications they need to SAVE THEIR LIVES or to keep them HEALTHY MENTALLY. While I have my own opinions on certain medications, I know a lot of people who have benefited from such things.

"Employees will fall into four categories: bronze, silver, gold and platinum.
Those showing "platinum" health will earn 30% discounts; "gold" gets 27% and silver 25%, while "bronze" wins 22% off."
That is SO SO SO wrong!
