Joo, Part Too

I've been watching a lot of Bones lately. A lot. There are many reasons that I love Dr. Temperance Brennan: her brain, her martial arts skills, her inability to function like a "normal" human. But there's another thing I love about Bones: her jewelry.

Big, chunky necklaces. Long, dangly earrings. I watched an episode from Season 1 last week, and I was transfixed by a pair of earrings. I realize that I have Judaism on the brain lately, but I could have sworn that her earrings were long, thick silver chains with teeny, tiny dreidels on the ends.

So I've been googling. Obsessively. And I've found nothing even remotely resembling the earrings that I only imagined she was wearing.

I mean, I'm sure she wasn't wearing dreidels. I'm sure they were just vaguely triangular stones.

Bottom line: I liked that my partner helped me feel connected to my religion (or, at least, my cultural heritage). And now I'm seeing Jews everywhere.

ETA:
I covet this hamsa necklace like whoa.
