Purse People.

After I wrote my last post I went on break, bought some dinner, and went outside to sit and eat and read.

When my break ended I grabbed my books and my dishes and came inside, apparently forgetting that my purse has still hanging from my chair outside on the sidewalk.

I did not realize my error until an hour later.

I'm glad to hear people like that still exist.

A few weeks ago at the gym, I saw a bill fall out of some guy's pocket. I picked it up - it was $5 - and when I looked around for the guy he was gone. (I assumed that he quickly skipped over to the locker room) So, I took it to the front desk, described the guy, and asked if they could return it to him before he left. The person at the desk said, "It's five bucks. Keep it."
I said, "I don't feel comfortable doing that." He said, "You want to return five dollars to someone?" I said, "Yes. Jeez!" He shrugged and took the bill. Now, I'm sure the guy who dropped it probably didn't need it...since it's a fancy gym in Shadyside...but, still. Am I too goodie goodie?
