Needle Exchange.
Click to viewI just found a video on YouTube about the needle exchange I used to use in Chicago. This was actually the exact location I always went to -- Humboldt Park. I did needle exchange in Pittsburgh as well, but it was far less organized -- you left a message on a voicemail saying what you needed, and then someone called you back and set up a meet, usually in a grocery store parking lot or similar locale.
It amazes me how completely the same that van looks. I mean, it's been more than ten years, and the only thing in that video that wasn't familiar was the Naloxone. Aside from that, it's exactly how I remembered it.
