I was bummed I didn't really get to spend any time with her while I was there -- I pretty much woke up and ran to campus, and then crawled into bed as soon as I got back at night.

laurie's one of my favorite people.

she was just in SF a bit ago for a wedding; she stayed iwth my partner and i back in july for a few days. it was the first time i'd gotten to connect with her face to face in years - when i was there for reunion i barely saw her at all.

I'd never met her before the other weekend. I wanted to hang around and spend some time and chat, but we were so sure that the decision was going to come that weekend that I didn't want to be away from campus for very long. I didn't even get to say goodbye and thanks (though I did leave a note and a few small presents).

Totally me, metabrilliant. And you are totally you. andd in the caf shot between Judy and Karen w/ Ed is Megan (Grinner) from Chi, class of '97ish. She's super cool.
