Yes, the rumors are true

Someone broke into The Co-op last night. They busted up Register 4 (my old register ... meh) and stole the metal thing that the cash drawer would have been in, had the store been open. Unfortunately for them, since the store was closed, the cash drawers were all gone, and all they got was a heavy, empty, metal box. Good going guys. Hope it was worth the trouble.

For our trouble we got a busted window (now fixed) and a smashed up register (now deceased). Oh, and lots of videotape of the three crooks, both busting into our store and also breaking into one of the houses behind our parking lot.
