Clark's reactions to Lena made me smile every time. You captured the amazed disbelief of a new parent very well. I loved how Lex took care of Clark in this chapter, it will be interesting to see where you go from here. Especially given Clark's thought at the end.

Clark really does want things to work out, but he's seen that he can't always live with the decisions Lex makes.

I love how both Clark and Lex reacted to Lena. :) And how Lex is treating Clark now. Curious how things go, especially since Clark plans on using his inside access to try and stop Lex still.

I'm glad Clark realized how much he loves Lex, but is considering conspiring against with Chloe really the best thing to do?

I have a feeling that won't end well...

I'm worried for him and for his daughter. I wouldn't want Lex to lock Clark away.
