Eep! I hope that Oliver is being influenced by drugs or something. This is really cold and cruel!

I do love that in the SV world, somehow Clark and Lex always end up following the other around. ;)

Yeah, Oliver is being influenced by drugs. That accounts for his hostility towards Clark. Unfortunately, his dislike of Lex is deeper than that.

Excellent work!

I am so *not* an Ollie fan in SV's version of Supes, so this chapter went down very well with me. *eg*

*waits patiently for more*

Clark will be thinking long and hard now I can see.

*Hugs*

I don't hate the character of Oliver--I just think he's a cheap replacement for the Lex of the early seasons. You know, rich guy, morally ambiguous, likes Clark, etc.

Clark will be thinking long and hard now I can see.

Clark has a lot of thinking to do.

Fantastic! Sorry I haven't commented on the other chapters but I am really enjoying this whole story and eagerly waiting each new chapter.

Glad Lex jumped in when he did. Oliver totally crossed the line. I hope Clark will get his powers back at some point so Oliver would break his hand taking a pot shot at him like that.

Lex has a vested interest in keeping Clark safe, but even if he didn't, I'd like to think that he'd still defend him. :)

Oh Ollie, so sanctimonious and insecure about being merely human. I must say, I got a thrill out of Lex storming in. Some of Ollie's stuff is just so far over the line and I can see him doing this, expecting this of him.

Still, can't wait for Clark to figure out why he's sick!

Oliver is way out of line, but we do have to cut him a little slack--Lex was drugging him, although I don't think that becomes clear until the next chapter.

Still, can't wait for Clark to figure out why he's sick!

That's coming, I think in the next chapter. Want to make a trade? The next chapter for an update of The Unexpected or OWAL? :P

I can't help but wonder if Lex 'planned' the division between Ollie and Clark by letting Clark visit with Ollie?

Though, Ollie's reaction and self-rightousness was way over the line. Is he being influenced by drugs too? I would think him seeing Clark bleed would have made him stop and think.

To a certain point. He didn't want Clark to get beaten up, though.

Is he being influenced by drugs too?

Yup.
