huh what an update?

So I've decided to learn how to sing, and am making Coconut teach me. Bwahaha!

For all of those who know about singing (because I sure as hell don't) this is what he has told me.

•        I have a 3 octave range
•        my tone is good
  
•        I'm a soprano because I'm "better connected" with my high notes, but I could be an alto (WTF?)

Pick something simple but not too difficult that you won't hurt yourself doing -the 24 Italian art songs and arias are pretty standard, they're not too high, and they're beautiful. Don't worry about your voice type or fach right now :)
And connection with your notes doesn't really have too much to do with your voice type -I know sopranos who really had to work for their high notes, but who always had a great bottom range. It's more the color and weight of your voice that makes you a soprano, mezzo, whatever.
