Whoa, you're really right that this is crack turned serious. I love how it's *insane*, but you make it so believable, the way John discovers and works with the changes, the way Dean accepts it but still mocks him. Brilliant!

Indeed, it didn't quite turn out as I expected. But that tends to happen with "crack", for me. The characters kind of just plow on through it all determinedly anyway.
