I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wrote it during a massive snowstorm last winter, and I think the dream-like quality of the story comes from watching the snowflakes fall outside of my window for hours on end.

What a beautiful story! The wintery setting gives it such a dreamlike quality and makes it perfect for reading right now.

I also love John's determination as well as how the rest of the team just assumes they are going with him :-)

Thank you; I enjoyed playing around with opening scenes and blurring the line between reality and dreams.

I figure that once John sets his mind on a goal, he will doing whatever he can to achieve it, and when it comes to Elizabeth...he's very motivated. Plus, I see Teyla, Rodney, and Ronon just as motivated to get Elizabeth back safely, but perhaps not as impulsive/guilt-ridden as John can be about the entire situation.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, beautifully written! Absolutely fascinating, touching and wonderful! ♥

The delicate crystals sprinkle her hair with miniature ice prisms that catch the light and grace her curls with a thousand tiny diamonds.

John, I’m here, and I want you to take me home.
He will.
He does.
