No excuses! Open that club/bar/restaurant because you want to and its your dream! Don't be afraid!
No apologies! If you think you deserve a promotion, go for it!
No regrets! I live in a shitty college town too and I'm getting out of it! I'm moving to a different town, different college, and when I'm finished with school, moving to the city. Don't regret living in a town you hate.
no worries, it's very nice to meet you :)and thanks for friending me too.
I always liked that saying. No excuses, no apologises, no regrets. Must be really hard to live by all the time though
I talked to a friend tonight about quiting college and just pursing my career in the bar/restaurant industry. So tomorrow I will be making the phone call to say that I'm dropping out. I don't need the course, it will just be adding to the qualifications I have already got and they are more than sufficient to do what I want to do.
I have a lot of memories in this crappy little town and in some way I will always love it, just because it's home, but their are no prospects here, so as soon as I can I'm off to the city. I can't wait!!
I have to get out of here, I think it would drive me insane otherwise.
I'm not quite sure what type of bar or restaurant I'd like. I wouldn't mind a club either. One of my best friends said he'd like to own a bar too, he wants to open a gay bar. I wouldn't mind going into partnership and opening a cool gay bar in the city. But I'm quite undecided on that part at the moment.
Though I do know I don't want a mexican restaurant. I work in one know and although I love it, don't think I could run one forever.

One of my best friends also wants to move to the city so I think he's going to come with me. So hopefully I won't be alone :)
Thanks :)
