You know what. I hate going into comic shops and finding kids reading manga/comics/books that they have no intention of buying. I know it's part of the geek culture that you can, and some stores actively encourage it so that you get a better feeling for the 'community' which is great. I guess it just really bugs me that people really do have the attitudes listed above. I feel so bad for the companies now-a-days because of this market they need to deal with.
I will admit that I do sometimes read the book in the store, but that's only if I'm waiting on my sisters to finish shopping and I have every intention of buying the book I'm flipping through. And normally, my conscience is so powerful, I pay for it before I can even allow myself to read it. And I'm not sitting right in front of the bookshelves blocking other customers either.
So, it makes me happy to see I'm not the only bothered by your addressed issue.
