This is more a post for myself then for others, but I was browsing through the upcoming [or really, on right now] anime for this season and just wanted to do a small ramble on some that seemed interesting. Please remember, I know NOTHING about them and am judging them merely by one glance of a publicity picture and sometimes a short synopsis.
NODAME CANTABILE: PARIS CHAPTER
Plot Synopsis
Nodame and Chiaki arrive in Paris and their story continues with new friends, challenges, more beautiful music and, of course, lots of Nodame gaffes and gyabos! Chiaki wants to make his presence known to Vieira Sensei by winning a competition for conductors, while homesick Nodame has her hands full coming to terms with her new surroundings.

HERE My Thoughts
Okay,so the first one out proves the above statement of not knowing much about these anime false. I do know about this anime having loved season one of the anime and reading what Resie owns of the manga. Soooo, this is one that I'm really excited to see. Ah, Nodame and Chiaki... you are so much love!
TYTANIA
Plot Synopsis
In a future where mankind is scattered across the stars, the Empire of Valdana is in control of Tytania family, which forged it's influence through intimidation and economic might. In the year 446, Tytania dispatches a large fleet to sieze a new piece of technology from the city-state Euriya. Much to everyone's surprise, Euriya decides to resist and wins. Their isolated act of rebellion sets into motion a sequence of events that strains the careful alliances and treaties within the empire, as various factions seek to exploit the situation to their own advantage. In the ensuing turmoil, ambitious members of the Tytania Royalty begin moving against each other in an effort to settle old grievances and seize control of the family. What started as an act of rebellion by Euriya, quickly expands into a civil war - with the wealth and power of the empire up for grabs to whoever is bold enough to seize it.

HERE My Thoughts
I don't know if I'll like this one or not, but there was something about the artwork that caught my eye and the fact that it's based on a series of novels, for me, ends up being a major plus. I like some of the anime adapted from manga and games, but so far in my experience, those that have been adapted from novels have a greater richness in story that is really telling throughout the anime. Shall be trying an episode or two to see how it goes.
ONE OUTS
Plot Synopsis
The story begins when Hiromichi Kojima, the star batter of the fictional Lycaons in Japan's Pacific League, heads to the southern Japanese island of Okinawa to train and bring himself out of a slump. There, he meet Toa Tokuchi, a 134-kmph (83 miles per hour) pitcher and the undisputed king of a gambling form of baseball called One Out. At Kojima's urging, Tokuchi signs up with the Lycaons under an unusual contract: he gets 5,000,000 yen (about US$46,000) for every out he pitches, but loses 50,000,000 yen (US$460,000) for every point he gives up.

My Thoughts
Again, this one caught my eye due to the fact that it's not got the usual animation style that most animes seem to be sticking too. Honestly... it looks more like a BL style, but without doing any further research I wouldn't be able to tell you if this anime is BL or not. Another plus point for this is I'm a sucker for sports animes/mangas
NATSUME YUUJINCHOU
Plot Synopsis
Natsume Takashi has the ability to see spirits, which he has long kept secret. However, once he inherits a strange book that belonged to his deceased grandmother, Reiko, he discovers the reason why spirits surround him. Containing the names of these spirits, a binding contract was formed between the spirits and the owner of the book. Now, Natsume is determined to free the spirits and dissolve the contracts. With the help of a spirit cat, his days are filled trying to return the names to these spirits.
My Thoughts
This one seems to be an anime that I have missed from earlier, sometime around July I think. I like the artwork presented and the story outline, while nothing new, is enough for me to give it a shot.
MOUROU HAKO
Plot Synopsis
The story follows a series of bizarre murders of schoolgirls who have been dismembered and stuffed into boxes. The private investigator hired by a missing daughter's mother joins forces with an antique book seller and others to unravel the murder spree.

My Thoughts
Another anime based on a series of novels, so again, I'm interested to see what the story's like. The artwork is pretty and the characters don't look like they've been created for the girly teeny crowd. [Oh how I hate seeing 15 year olds with enormous eyes and pink hair. blarg.] Also, murder mystery for the win. I like following these along to find out who did it. Shall be giving it a try to see if it lives up to my expectations.
KURO SHITSUJI
Plot Synopsis
One of the noble families of England Phantomhive's butler Sebastian Michaels has unquestionably perfect knowledge, manners, talent with materials, martial arts et cetera but is also able to serve a 12 year old master. Wearing a grey tailcoat, gracefully brewing the worlds strongest red tea, please watch to see how such a perfect butler copes with such a master...

HERE My Thoughts
I'll admit, I'm suckered into this one by the artwork and the fashion style alone. I'm not to sure about the plot outline... I can see myself cringing at it if it's not handled well, but I'm happy enough to give it a try.
JUNJOU ROMANTICA 2
Plot Synopsis
None provided.
My Thoughts
I'm going to be watching this one purely because I watched all of season one. But, that being said, I wasn't overly fond of season one. This is a BL anime based on a manga... and I kind've got sick of the seme/uke stereotypes that played out in it's first run. Still, I really like one of the pairings so I'll sit down and see if I can get through this series as well, just for them. [see, aren't I a good fangirl?]
INITIAL D EXTRA STAGE 2: TABIDACHI NO GREEN
Plot Synopsis
None provided.
My Thoughts
It's only a one episode OVA, but I've already squealed about the fact that this is coming out
once before on LJ. Oh Initial D, how I've missed you. And look! Artwork showing my favourite couple from the series! [oh please please please get together. No more Ronuri Doraibasu!]
HAKUSHAKU TO YOUSEI
Plot Synopsis
None provided.
My Thoughts
I admit to this one catching my eye because the main character looks a lot like Tamaki from Ouran. Not a brilliant thing to have two series where the artwork looks similar, but the studio that put together Ouran did a brilliant job, so I'm interested to see what kind of story they pull together for this anime. Shall give an episode or two a try and then make up my mind.
GA-REI: ZERO
Plot Synopsis
Freshman Nimura Kensuke has the ability to see ghosts, and his life changes when he meets Kagura, a girl with the power to summon a "Ga-Rei" called Byakuei. The two work together to find evil spirita and devour them with the Ga-Rei.

My Thoughts
Okay, this one looks interesting and I'm actually really looking forward to seeing what it's like. The little girl down in the left hand corner kind've makes me shudder a little bit, but the rest of the cast of characters and the story outline catches my attention.
..~*~..
Hah! See me completely ignore Vampire Knight s2 and Skip Beat. VKs story never grabbed me in any way [it just seemed weak and little girl squealy about 'zomg! bishie vampires!'] and SB? Urg to that storyline when I tried to read the manga so I'm really not that interested in even touching the anime. I'm finding this slightly funny though since those are the two animes that have the whole fangirl base squee-ing this season. Hah, I say again!
