true, but i feel you don't get the whole picture of how it will affect everyone w/o watching it, because the visual aspect is so crucial now.

me and tyler just finished watching it while cursing at the screen every 30 seconds. the pregger daughters boyfriend looked oh so ecstatic to be there. and did you catch the part where the young daughter was grooming the baby like a fucking wombat?! ahhahahha ! hahahahha !

i saw ONE black dude in the audience. i love how the camera kept cutting away to old wrinkly white people, while for the DNC it showed us crazy hippies and youth wearing tevas.

I didn't watch, but I listened earlier on NPR (caught Romney & Huckabee; missed Giuliani & Palin), and they had Michele Martin on the floor amidst the delegates, and she noted, sounding like she had some actual figures in front of her, that the GOP delegate population was overwhelmingly white, and significant majority male. She also was reporting right after former MD Gov Michael Steele was on the stage, and said that the population on stage (& in front of cameras) was way more diverse than the crowd.

I just read a digest of the Palin speech on Wonkette. Oh good golly. WTF was that shit about "community organizers"??
