REASON NUMBER ONE: Your writing is awesome. It's lush and emotional and detailed, and you dream up such intricate and complex scenarios. You're really a world builder.

REASON NUMBER TWO: I got to meet you in person, and, lady, you are lovely. Strong and passionate and kind.

REASON NUMBER THREE: Your generosity. Like. You're such a wonderful, giving, nurturing person that it makes me want to be a better person, too. You inspire me with your art, your friendship, and just by being who you are.

#1: Your writing. Like. BACK IN THE DAY, when I was writing my very first BDSM fics, you were such an inspiration and support. I felt like we were on the same wavelength, and it was nice to have company. Very very kinky company. You encourage me to keep pushing my boundaries, through leading my example.

#2: This is a selfish reason, so, beware. You make me feel really good about myself. So. Yes. I really appreciate that. Um. Thank you. ♥

#3: You are such a wonderful, positive force in fandom. You're like a one-woman porny cheerleading squad. Your participation in fests and fics and memes is really wonderful. I love seeing your comments pop up all over the place, since they're always encouraging.

#4 (to make up for selfish reasons): You are so, so strong. As a woman, as a partner, as a mother, as a student, and as a writer. So strong.

so i kind of have a confession and this is as good a place as any. i read your kurt/blaine epic b!p fic last week and am rather embarrassed to admit it made me cry. like weep with emotions. like moved something deep inside me that i am sure was unintentional on your part and i am not sure how you did it or why it happened. but i know i was so flummoxed i couldn't bring myself to comment because i was a bit incoherent. i know everyone (including you) tells you (with exceedingly good reason) how insanely hot your porn is. but sometimes your porn has so much fucking heart. it makes me feel with way more than just my naughty bits. and that makes you quite special and talented, you know?

just thought you should know.

It was an experience. That ended with Diet Cherry 7-Up spilled all over the carpet and the cat getting locked in the basement. YAY FAMILY.

REASON WHY I LOVE YOU NUMBER ONE: THAT CHUCK/BRYCE FIC WITH THE ANCIENT GREEK. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHGODILOVEITSOMUCH. You just, like, woke something up inside of me with that one. And I thank you for that.

REASON WHY I LOVE YOU NUMBER TWO: You are just so freaking nice. Before I got to know you, I really wanted to get to know you, because your fics are so fucking good and you're so humble and generous.

REASON WHY I LOVE YOU NUMBER THREE: Your creativity. There is a reason why you are Prom(pt) Queen, and why your fics are so surprising and thought-provoking. I really admire that about you.

REASON NUMERO DOS: Your honesty. I don't know if its an exercise in courage for you, or it LJ is an outlet, or something else entirely, but the fact that you're sharing your struggle so completely makes it easier for other people to talk about their experiences, too.

REASON NUMERO TRES: You're a really good friend. Even when you're down in the dumps, you still make the effort to check in, and that's really appreciated. I always like hearing from you. ♥
