Once on the satellite, Tony was left with the task of wandering around the increasingly creepy and abandoned rooms for where the Laser had the scientists so he could get them to safety before SHIELD did something dumb again. Which would have gone so much better had the Living Laser not been in the same room as them, waiting for his arrival.

"It's okay, I'm here to... save you," Tony started to say as alarms blared inside the suit. Oh crap. oh craaaaap.

Because Iron Man's armor was far more intelligent than him most of the time. The Living Laser flickered into existence behind him, going for a nice sucker punch before he could react. One that sent him flying across the room and down to the level below where the scientists were.

"You called me sad!" Arthur shouted, holding onto the railing to look down at Iron Man. "Well, look who's sad now."

Yeah, this wasn't going well at all. Tony dragged himself back onto his feet, weapons systems whirring to life before he fired the unibeam up at the Laser. To no effect, of course. "Alter frequency to match target," he ordered the suit. Just like last time, he should be disintegrated...

Altering.

Error: Target frequency changing too rapidly to match.

"That tickles," Arthur said with a grin, flickering in and out as he moved too fast to be seen. "I've picked up a few tricks. So you can't hurt me now, Iron man."

He reappeared behind Iron Man like a creeper "But I can hurt you."
