After his little entanglement with Jaime, it had taken Victor the better part of the day to make it back to campus. Something must have gotten fried in his sense of direction; he kept walking into walls and going in circles.
It was not the most dignified path for a future supervillain.
and then, once he was finally in the dorms, Topher wasn't in his room. Victor went to find Tony instead.
"Got time to help a guy out?" he asked from the doorway, in a voice laced with electronic static. A few sparks still came from his mouth. "Reyes fried me good."
"Thank God," Victor said, obediently sitting down and opening an access hatch in one arm. "He had this -- suit. Like yours, but his has wings and isn't metal. Did you know that?"
"I doubt it's like mine if it has wings then." Not the best design, you know. He sat down next to Victor, jacking to that to run a systems check. "Has it caused any memory problems?"
