That really is a smart idea.

I'm afraid one of my cats is peeing outside the box. Our bath mats were starting to get peed on since moving here, I blamed the dog. All bath mats have been gone for a few months now.

Two days ago I was sitting here and there was this whiff of horridness. I immediately thought a cat peed outside and it was wafting through the windows. The next day I could smell it again and the windows were closed. I scoured the area and couldn't find it. Today I checked Max's toybox and all the plush animals were soaked in pee.

Someone is being bad and I have no idea who!

Throw the toys away and clean with an enzyme cleaner. Hopefully that will help some. but if a cat is still doing it, it could be a health issue.
