Throwback Thursday: Dean H/C Highlight from 7x05 "Shut Up, Dr. Phil"

Throwback Thursday time! :D I've chosen a single scene from 7x05 "Shut Up, Dr. Phil," not because it's the only Dean H/C scene (there's a lot of drinking and interpersonal drama in this episode, and also.. bees?) but because it's one of my favorites, and the first Winchester scene in 9x03 this past Tuesday made me recall it fondly ( Read more... )

psychological issues, nightmares/night terrors, *throwbackthursday, depression, [setting: season 07], substance abuse (alcohol), alcoholism

Yes! I was just thinking of this scene when we got the 'went out running' bit in the latest episode. Sam really *does* get up and go for runs when he's feeling good.

Of course, that made me go watch the 'deleted' version of this scene, with Sam's increasingly silly 'stretches' and Dean's (Jensen's) perfect ability to not break into hysterical laughter.

LOL IKR sometimes I forget that that's not the actual scene (no matter how much of a tonal shift that would have been), and am mildly confused when the scene cuts before the stretching happens. XD

I KNOW RIGHT. XDD <33

Though that convo always reminds me of Pixar's Cars, bahahaha, because Lightning McQueen and Sally Porsche have a similar conversation. (Sally Porsche is Dean.)
