I'm glad you liked the ending! The ending was funny, because my intention when I started writing this story had been to add a lot more detail. But then, with the words 'someplace safe' I realized that I had reached my ending without even knowing it! I tacked on the last line about the cabin, and the blood and fire, because it seemed right, but this is the first fic I've ever written that chose it's own ending! Thanks for your comments!
