I liked this a lot. Everybody got hurt and everybody but the monster and poor Ashley, the monster's "good" personality) survived. Do you think Dean had some regrets after? The human persona had taken on an existence of its own, and knew that if Dean stayed she couldn't help him. It seemed she really cared for Dean. Did he feel bad that the one person he cared for turned out to be not entirely real?
