Dean pulls himself out of his funk over losing Sam long enough to take Ben fishing for the first time. Nothing like teaching fishing safety through negative example.... (Nothing too graphic or scary, please; preferably just minor injuries, like jabbing himself with the fishhook or getting stung by a catfish.)
So yes. It's a hot summer day. The boys are goofing off out in the wilderness. Teen!Dean is showing off for Sam by climbing a tree when he encounters a wasp's nest, and when they start stinging he looses his balance and falls. Maybe breaks his arm, or hits his head? Pick your poison.
Dean and/or Sam did *really* well in school this year--well enough to win free tickets to a Royals game! Hunting's slow, and John thinks it's high time he *did* take the boys to a baseball game, so they're going unless someone's in the hospital. Yeeeeeah. We know how this one goes.
I just watched It's the Great Pumpkin', where Dean says Baseball is a beautiful game. I can see this really disappointing him, poor kiddo. I'm either seconding this or planning to write it. I'm not quite sure!

It's summer, Dean and Sam are stuck at a hotel while John is off hunting. Sam's off playing soccer but Dean's bored.
Never a good thing. What happens is totally up to the author
