Once again, much love to geckoholic for making the beautiful, seasonal banner. Thank-youuu for making this whole thing possible. <333 YOU ARE OUR HERO.

Thank you :-) Personally, I'd prefer Dean to break down in a lot more violence and fire, anger and screaming and yelling and hitting things before he goes to the crying part - just because I need to SEE that scene I've been having in my head ever since ... uh, I think since season four.
But that prompt needed a little more subdued reaction ;-)

Worn down by grief and alcohol, and if Sam didn't know, hadn't witnessed over and over and over again how much of a fight it was for Dean to get up every morning, he'd say there was no trace left of the larger-than-life hero he grew up idolizing, loving and resenting in not even close to equal measures.
That line hit me hard. Wow. I liked that when Dean was going to break down he immediately ran for his car. Also, I love fics where Dean keens. Great job with this!

Thank you, I really loved that line. And "keening" is such an awesome word! It shows the desire to hide the pain away but it's squeezing through, from deep in the heart out and the sound is so .... so painful. It's a wonderful word - we don't have that word in my language, not with the same sound to it. :-(

Dean needs Baby back right now. I need it to happen just like this, too. I love Sam here, and he's right. Just getting out of bed in the morning must take heroic measures from his brother. I loved this, thanks so much for sharing!

I really really like this. Really, Sam was so thoughtful and it was sad still so beautiful. Meaningful gifts and gestures, that totally got me. Fantastic job. I loved it a lot. Thanks!
