Here are even more recs from
silverbullets, which is totally my fave comm right now (besides this one, of course!) ♥ Daily schmoop cures all, I’ve decided.
If you have any other similarly themed recs, (or self-recs), please leave them in the comments to this post so that others can check them out.

Never a wasted momentAuthor:
fleshflutterTags: exhaustion, nightmares, stress
Characters: Sam, Dean
Genre/pairing: Gen
Rating: PG
Word-count: 1200
Spoilers: Season six
Warnings: None
Summary: For the prompt, "Sunday morning" Panic jumpstarts him awake.
Reccer’s comments: This one treats us to boys doing laundry in the middle of the night! I have no idea why, but I love to see them do mundane, regular things like that. <3 But of course there’s nothing regular about the Winchesters, and that’s highlighted here. With schmoop on top! A delicate, perfect balance of angst and comfort.

Monkberry Moon DelightAuthor:
i_speak_tongue Tags: aphasia, disability, headache/migraine
Characters: Dean, Sam, Bobby
Genre/pairing: Gen, future-fic
Rating: PG-13
Word-count: 898
Spoilers: None. Future-fic.
Warnings: None
Summary: For the prompt "4 and 20 blackbirds". There’s a jug of kittens in the lampshade. They want razor blades for lunch.
Reccer’s comments: This is totally adorable, but like the other fics I’ve recced here, balances that out nicely with just the right amount of angst. What I really like about it is how it illustrates the ways in which Sam and Dean understand each other in ways no one else ever could.
Title:
Stumbling AlongAuthor:
lifting_latchesTags: bed sharing, dissociation/dissociative disorder, exhaustion, hugs/cuddling, mental illness
Characters: Sam, Dean, Castiel
Genre/pairing: Sam/Dean, some hints of Castiel in there, future-fic
Rating: PG-13 (rated by reccer)
Word-count: 2591
Spoilers: None. Future-fic.
Warnings: None
Summary: For the prompt, "stumbling along." AU, futurefic. Sam is on the couch with a book when Castiel brings Dean home.
Reccer’s comments: This is perhaps my absolute fave h/c scenario, where after the war is over neither of them are left unscathed (Dean particularly, of course!) and it’s SAD, but there’s something very hopeful there too, because of the relationship they have and the way they take care of each other and have lots of cuddletimes.
I also enjoyed Cas’s mango juice fixation, haha.
Title:
Come On In My KitchenAuthor:
neros_violinTags: stress, substance abuse (alcohol)
Characters: Sam, Dean
Genre/pairing: Gen
Rating: PG-13
Word-count: 1350
Spoilers: Spoilers for episode 6.16
Warnings: language
Summary: For the prompt, “one day it will be us.” Sam, Dean, and Jim Beam have a conversation.
Reccer’s comments: This is a wonderfully poignant portrait of Sam and Dean and their relationship at this point into the series. The author expertly gets into their headspace.
Title:
Reinventing The WheelAuthor:
si_star_xTags: injury, phobia
Characters: Sam, Dean
Genre/pairing: Gen
Rating: G (rated by reccer)
Word-count: 1,839
Spoilers: None
Warnings: Just language.
Summary: For the prompt, “ferris wheels.” Sam has seen a flyer in their favourite brand of dingy diners, and he knows Dean has a bad shoulder but it's the fair. They haven't been to the fair in a long time, and it's not like he's going to force Dean to go on the rides.
Reccer’s comments: This one is sweet and whimsical.
