The morning had been slow at the store, although Parvati did not consider this a bad thing.  A shipment of new merchandise had come in on Monday, and she had been working all week to get it put away

Far be it from us to ignore the call of a damsel in distress.

We can give you some space in the flat above the shop for storage, but we're not going to be able to hold it as long as that. All the Wheezes shops will need to start stockpiling merchandise for the Hogwarts rush too. But we can play it by ear and certainly hold onto your things for now.

Stop by number 93 and tell Verity we said it was alright. She'll show you where to go.

Parvati was sitting down to lunch at her desk when the owl flew into the back room, the breeze from its wings sending the neat stack of papers flying off. Almost choking on the bite of her sandwich, she frantically grabbed the papers from the floor and tried to reorganize them the best she could. After some semblance of order had been reestablished, she gave the owl a treat and went about her reply.
