She's actually been rumoured for a couple of years. Rehnquist grabbed all the attention with his recent overt problems, but O'Conner has had health issues of her own, and her husband is also doing badly, and, well.

An excellent point... The fact that I've been too depressed on the whole topic to keep up for some time doesn't (and wasn't meant to) imply that nobody saw this coming.

ya know... I feel stupid, but I don't know nearly enough about the Brittish National Party or thier views... I guess I'm just so frightened with the Republicans here at home that I have felt like I have to focus here lately. And I'm not sure I agree with that idea. We have to think globally.

And... Is it just me, or is it funny to start a statement "I agree 1000%" and end it with "Fuck Radicals"? ;-)
