Been away for a while. Been reading . . .

Back to transitting to and from PSU regularly, which means I've had a lot of time to read, which is convenient, because four books recently came out that I had on my list. In order of reading:

Pack Dynamics by our very own agilebrit:

Werewolves, vampires, werewolf bunnies, etc. )

books, dresden files, discworld

Thanks for mentioning the Butcher book, I'd somehow missed it was launching. Just ordered it from Amazon.

Aw, thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. :)

Yes, it's me, too lazy to log out of Ben's account, which I RP him under.

As for what you should read next, how about the Kitty books by Carrie Vaughn, or anything by Rob Thurman? Have you tried Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid series?

Congrats on the book agilebrit! I can't wait to read it. And yes, she's read the Iron Druid series (thanks to me). ;)

Pack Dynamics sounds marvelous! I'll definitely watch for that one. (Sorry, I'm cheap. Thrift shops rock.)

Have you read any of Barbara Hambly's vampire novels? And I don't know if you'd be interested in antebellum New Orleans, but her Benjamin January mysteries are my favorite(s) of her works. (And of course she's done a lot of fantasy.)

Good to see you!

As for what you should read next, since you enjoy modern/urban fantasy you should check out the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire. The worldbuilding with fae in today's San Francisco is clever, the characters are richly developed and likable (both the heroine, October "Toby" Daye, and the supporting cast that accumulates over the series...I could go on for ages about my love for Tybalt and May and Quentin and the Luidaeg), and the plots are tough to put down. Also, this series gives me ALL THE FEELS, especially from the third book onward.
