Avengers this time: Exclusive by Copperbadge is written in the form of a newspaper article by a reporter who's been given the chance to live with the Avengers for two weeks. It is terrific. Great writing, great character voices, and the author never stoops to cliches. It can be easily understood with just the movie as background, though I get the

Thanks for the rec! I've been on the lookout for great Avengers fic lately, and this one is so fabulous, I want to snuggle it forever.

To rec you in turn, one of the best ensemble pieces I've found (unfinished) is this fic, where the prompt was: Natasha gets pregnant by mistake, and plans to put the baby up for adoption when it finally arrives. In the meantime, however, she has to deal with the boys being completely besotted with her stomach....the father is not someone on the team. It's a Clint/Natasha friendship fic for the most part, slightly cracky in places, but both Thor and Tony are gold, and there's Tony/Bruce bromance, also. I think you'd enjoy it!
