I swear, Finnick seems to be the most hotly contested casting I have ever seen! I've seen so many names, and almost no one agrees. I do not envy whoever is in charge of actually casting the role - no matter who they pick, there's going to be a large outcry.
I've never heard of this guy, but I agree - he is completely gorgeous - and just right for Finnick! :D
I am Team Katherine, but last night, I was the first to concede that William and Cheryl should have had a 30 and were robbed. That was THE best Argentine tango I've seen, either on DWTS or Strictly, since my boy Gilles and Cheryl dropped my jaw, ne'er to be completely picked back up again.
I think, overall, Mark and Katherine have been doing the best, but yeah--that Argentine tango William and Cheryl did, IMHO, deserved a 30. It was SO DAMN HOT!
Katherine's was technically beautiful and intense, but lacked the raw passion that was in William's. Now, a lot of that was Cheryl, because NOBODY acts the Argentine tango better than she, but yeah, it was rawr! Not sure why Len didn't find it worthy since on paper, it had everything he likes about the Argentine tango. I'll need to watch it back to see where William's dance was lacking.
No picture showing up, but casting an appropriate Finnick is going to be extremely difficult.
The person has to not only has to have model'esque looks, but also needs to be an effective actor who can take us from the seemingly shallow yet dangerous character we first meet, to the broken man at the start of Mockinjay, to the man happily married to Annie.
Not sure what William's like as an actor. He's done a lot of work in Latin America on telenovelas and the such, so he's got experience. He's also got charisma to burn. Seriously, find last night's Dancing with the Stars episode and watch the tango he did with Cheryl, and you'll see what I mean.

That said, William would be a brilliant Finnick.

I haven't been watching Dancing this season. You reminded me that I missed it. Cheryl is one of my favorite pros and I have such a crush on her.
I'm just gonna go off and not think about victors being on DWTS: Capitol.
