House reminded me of the computer AM in Harlan Ellison's horror story, "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream"; AM loved torturing people, too.

I love Sexy the TARDIS. And I love that once the TARDIS matrix is back in her console, the first thing the Doctor sets about doing is giving his lady a voice. YES. THANK YOU, NEIL.

"The only water in the forest is the river" absolutely HAS to have something to do with Doctor River Song and the Library that was the forest of the Vashta Nerada.

I'm so glad that someone who is not writing fanfic realized that the TARDIS is THE most important being in the Doctor's life. And I'm so very, very glad that the TARDIS loves him as fiercely as he does her.

I've read summaries of that story, and the summaries alone are nightmare fuel. *shudder* Think I'll skip reading the story itself.

I've been known to 'ship Doctor/Rose in my time, but I have no trouble admitting that the true love of the Doctor's life is the TARDIS. She's his Old Girl, he's her Thief.

If you haven't read that particular horror, my advice is "don't." It is high octane nightmare fuel and no mistake.

I love that the TARDIS calls the Doctor "my Thief!" as an endearment. And thank you, TARDIS, for saying that "borrowing means you intend to give something back--and what makes you think that I would ever let you go?" The Doctor has been saying since Classic Who that he just borrowed the TARDIS. So it was wonderful to get confirmation that not only did he never intend to give the TARDIS back, the TARDIS would never give up her Doctor, either.

The House reminded me of an evil Fiddlers Green from Sandman. VERY creepy.

That occurred to me, too. Gaiman writes genius loci into a lot of his works. Good or bad, they tend to be heavy hitters.

So, will there be a TARDIS diary entry on this episode? *veg*

It was an excellent episode. Probably the best so far (though I did like the first one with baby!Amelia an awful lot).

I'm so tired of getting Moffat!headaches that I almost stopped watching after the teaser. Then I saw Gaiman's name pop up and I thought - oh wait...

Best ep in a long time and, as everyone is saying, it's like the fanon wishlist brought to life. Can't complain about that.

And Changes spoilers argh! I'm only half-way though, how could you?!? :P (I can never not read spoilers. I already know how it's all going to end. O_O Just not how it gets there.) Anyway, I love that Mouse thinks that. I can so totally see it. And he talks?? Looking forward to that.

Sorry! It's a very minor spoiler, I promise. But yes, you do see Mouse talk, and it's just as awesome as you'd hope. New Dresden out in July, yay!
