Works for me and leaves me hanging out for more. :-) I didn't feel that there were any character inconsistencies, although I personally don't find the 10th Doc all that good looking! I must admit that a) I'm male and straight, and b) I seem to be in the minority. *g*

Perhaps the only comment I'd make, not sure if it classifies as negative, is that you've not availed yourself of the usual BtVS fic clichés - Giles rubbing his glasses, Buffy's Californispeak, Willow in babble mode etc. Now that's not necessarily a bad thing since they are, as mentioned, clichés but they do tend to 'set the tone' so to speak in a lot of fics.

ETD: Actually, I just went back again, and you have used them just not quite so blatantly... so ignore me and I'll crawl back under my rock. :-)

Thanks for the feedback! I am worried about leaning on cliches, but then, the cliches often do have a lot of truth to them--Willow and Buffy's dialogue is very distinctive, and Giles/glasses OTP. I'm aiming for sounding like them, not parodying them, and when you haven't worked with characters in a while, it's a little hard to find the line, sometimes.

BTW, that's Jack everyone's ogling, not Ten. This is a Nine-era fic. And I, for one, find Nine much more attractive than Ten.

It feels like maybe there should be a few more contractions in their speech, perhaps. Apart from that I think it's fine.

Oh, you must continue! This has a fabulous setup! Loved Buffy and Willow's reactions to Jack (can you also put Cordy in, she'd really be all over him!) and Angel's too. Please more soon!
