Marry Captain Jack. Sure, he'd be gone most of a time and monogamy is a foregone "surely you're kidding" - but as long as that works both ways, I'm good. Besides, I want someone who's going to treat me as an equal (whatever his other faults, Jack does not condescend until the person's proven themselves a milquetoast) and not spend lots of time moping. Sure it's head-in-the-sand denial, but Captain Jack does not do Constant Angst.
